Zeitgeist – the first promo release from The Macaroni Cheese Mixtape – takes Radioheads’ Idioteque and magically turns it into a poetic odyssey reminiscent of The Last Poets, with Sydney Velvet harmonising hypnotically as a hook. Initially painting a bleak picture, the first verse ends with Kai Gama stating his intention to create “Love potions for trap living”.
This is, as Kai Gama says, “just a taste of what we’re about”. So the question is, have you had your Macaroni Cheese yet? Well take a taste, for it’s a good taste indeed.
